Jim's Comments: "After an avalanche of requests over the years, we've finally created the Metallica pack you've been yearning for! We worked for a long time creating this one. An insane attention to detail was required to get everything just right. The hardest part was figuring out the perfect EQ for the amp, in the effects loop, and after the mic, which is absolutely critical for many of these tones. We've also tailored a set of profiles which get very similar tones through the Kemper Player. We're proud of the results, and think you'll have a blast rocking these!"
Please Note: Obviously, the guitar is a very important part of the signal chain, and differences between guitars will affect the tone. We used Jim's 1954 Les Paul Standard with original 1950s PAF humbucker pickups as the reference to build the profiles. If your guitar has a fuller tone, we recommend increasing the Treble and/or Presence and seeing how that sounds. If your guitar is bright, try reducing the Treble and Presence and go from there.
