There's nothing which creates more confusion among new and even experienced Kemper users than Merged (or Direct) profiles.

Many people don't understand how Merged profiles work, which leads to unrealistic expectations of what they will sound like when using them. For this reason, I dislike Merged profiles.

The Story Behind Jim's '54 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop, 4 4991

There's an interesting story behind the guitar used to build most of our profiles. The reference guitar is a 1954 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop (serial number 4 4991) which was modified with original 1950's Gibson PAF pickups and a Tune-O-Matic bridge. The conversion work was sanctioned by a previous celebrity owner. This guitar is amazing.
